Job Description

Senior Helpers have an immediate need for an experienced home health aide (HHA) or caregiver in Phoenixville and surrounding areas (Oaks, Mont Clare, Kimberton) who is looking to work a couple of days a week. This opening is for a specific client in Phoenixville who needs support every Wednesday, 5 pm-9 pm, and every Sunday, 9:30 am-12:30 pm.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• TB Required: 2 Step PPD, QuantiFERON, or a Chest X-ray
• Social Security Card
• Must be able to work with male and female clients
• Comfortable with cats and dogs
• Comfortable with clients who smoke
• Able to take clients out in a personal vehicle for errands, appointments, outings, and procedures when required.

Job Duties:

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal Care – showering, dressing, grooming, oral care, hair care, toileting, incontinence care.
• Light Housekeeping, Laundry, Linen, Mopping, Sweeping, Vacuuming.
• Meal Preparation
• Medication reminders
• Safety and fall precautions
• Transportation or escort – Errands, Shopping, Outings, Events, Family Gatherings, Doctor Appointments, Procedures.
