Mission

To ensure every client site operates at peak performance through precision maintenance, reliability expertise, and field leadership. Field Service Technicians are the trusted hands and eyes of our engineering teams — solving complex technical challenges while representing the company’s values of integrity, safety, and service excellence.

The Role

You’ll join a growing regional team that supports installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance for advanced industrial systems. This position demands a blend of technical skill, professional judgment, and field adaptability. You’ll be traveling to customer facilities across your assigned region — with occasional travel outside your territory when project load requires — ensuring high-impact service delivery wherever you go.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance and repair on advanced manufacturing systems.

  • Lead or assist in installations, commissioning, and technical troubleshooting at customer sites.

  • Partner with clients and engineering teams to diagnose system performance issues and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and reports to ensure compliance and traceability.

  • Uphold all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure zero-incident operations.

  • Represent the company with professionalism, technical confidence, and customer-first mindset.

Performance Objectives (First 12 Months)

  • Achieve full operational proficiency across assigned systems within 90 days.

  • Maintain a 95%+ customer satisfaction rating on service calls.

  • Reduce repeat service incidents through proactive diagnosis and root-cause resolution.

  • Serve as regional point of contact for at least one major client site by end of first year.

  • Support training or mentorship for new field techs or client operators as needed.

Travel & Territory

  • Up to 50% overnight travel within your assigned region

  • Occasional travel outside your primary region to support national project demand (e.g., VA/TN).

  • Company vehicle and gas card provided.

Requirements

Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.

Basic understanding of electrical theory (voltage, current, safety protocols)

Strong communication and time management skills

Ability to lift up to 100lbs (team lift standard); repeated lifting during battery replacements

Willingness to travel extensively (50%+ during training phase). This is primarily to Portland for OJT.

Valid driver’s license and clean record

Familiarity with electrical schematics and manuals — but knows how to think beyond them

Benefits

Annual profit-sharing bonuses based on company performance

Full healthcare coverage!

Company vehicle and gas card provided

Flexible PTO – family-first culture

Field autonomy — trusted to manage your time and service territory

Ownership culture: company invests in you, not just your outputs
