Temp to Perm Physician Assistant – 13-Week Contract

Location: Near Arcata, CA

Compensation: Up to $5,600 per week (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a Temp to Perm Physician Assistant for a 13-week contract with a leading healthcare provider near Arcata, CA . Job Description

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.

Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care.

Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations.

Educate patients and families on preventive care and wellness strategies.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Active California PA license (or eligibility for reciprocity).

Board certification as a PA (NCCPA).

DEA license (or willingness to obtain).

BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred).

Minimum of one year of PA experience (preferred).

Strong clinical skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
