Job Description

As a Staff Accountant in Real Estate & Property Management, you'll play a critical role in supporting the financial health of our growing portfolio. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting, thrives in a small-office, team-oriented environment, and takes pride in meaningful, accurate work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Complete bank reconciliations and process rent payments
• Assist with construction accounting and accounts payable
• Serve as a back-up for property management A/P functions, including:
  • Vendor invoice processing
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Weekly payment runs
• Prepare financial documents and reports in Excel and Word
• Support ad hoc accounting projects and assist with office duties (phones, mail, etc.)

What You Bring:

• 4–5 years of general accounting experience (accounts payable required)
• Associate’s degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Experience in real estate development, construction, or property management is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and be a dependable team player
• Comfortable in a collaborative, small-office environment
