  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date on best practices in early childhood and inclusive education.
  • Write progress reports using person-first language and maintain open communication with families about their child's development.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers to maintain classroom excellence and consistency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Early Childhood Development, Special Education, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of classroom leadership experience, preferably in an inclusive or early intervention setting.
  • A minimum of 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education)
  • Strong understanding of child development principles, including best practices for supporting diverse learning needs.
  • Experience conducting developmental assessments and writing progress reports.
  • Passion for fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Must pass a TB test, criminal background check, and maintain current First Aid and CPR certification.
