We are looking for a talented Site Reliaiblity Engineer II to join our team. You will manage system availability, automate operational tasks, and enhance service reliability.
- This is a hybrid position which requires working in the Waltham,MA office at least one day per week.
Primary Job Responsibilites Technical Implementation & Development
- Develop automation scripts to reduce manual intervention in operations
- Implement monitoring and alerting strategies for infrastructure and applications
- Participate in incident response and post-mortem analyses
- Work with development teams to design resilient systems and implement SRE best practices
Project Scope & Complexity
- Handle infrastructure reliability tasks and small-scale automation efforts independently
Communication & Impact
- Work with development and operations teams to improve service availability
Leadership & Growth
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reliability engineering
Qualifications Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science, IT or a related field
Years and Type of Experience
- 2-4 years of work experience in a Site Reliability Engineering/ Platform Engineering/ DevOps role or similar
Key Skills, Knowledge, & Capabilities - Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), monitoring and observability, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, incident management, and troubleshooting
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is beneficial
