Job Description

Primary Function:

The primary function of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing and handling incoming and outgoing packages in the warehouse. Maintains records to ensure accuracy of orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities, condition, and documentation against purchase orders.
• Fill out logbooks for all components and follow established SOPs for inbound processing.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, discrepancies, or nonconformities; escalate issues as required.
• Accurately process receipts in SAP or other inventory management systems.
• Assign labels to components and ensure proper identification and traceability.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and compliance with shipping regulations and cGMP standards.
• Verify all outbound loads and maintain shipping logs for accuracy.
• Schedule weekly outbound shipments in coordination with carriers and couriers.
• Answer customer and internal email inquiries promptly regarding shipping and receiving status.
• Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound transactions.
• Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure proper documentation is on hand for all shipments.
• Ensure materials are stored, organized, and staged appropriately for production use.
• Support inventory cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift) as assigned; assist with daily warehouse tasks to support team success.
• Uphold all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor to contribute to overall team performance.

Schedule:

• 7:00am 3:30pm
• Overtime may be required as needed.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1 year in Warehouse setting
• Experience in SAP
• Excellent organization and administrative skills
• Exemplary customer service skills

Forklift certification
