A Senior Electrical Systems Engineer position is currently available with Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full-time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have at least a bachelor's degree in electrical, systems, or aerospace engineering and a minimum of 4 years of experience in industry. In this role, you will support an industry leading aerospace company solving complex electrical systems engineering problems. You will leverage your experience to define electrical system/sub-system requirements, support electronic hardware systems design, and support safety and reliability assessments. • Support electronic hardware systems design activities
• Develop and refine electronic system and hardware requirements
• Lead technical discussions and reviews with key stakeholders
• Perform analysis in support of system verification, validation, and compatibility
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement as part of Agile product development
• Track budgets and task completion in support of project management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor 's degree in electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• 4+ years of electrical design or electrical systems experience
• Experience with structured requirements documentation systems such as DOORs or Jama
• Demonstrated experience with the system requirements development cycle
• Experience in aerospace, maritime, or other safety-critical industries
• Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is REQUIRED.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance is REQUIRED.

Desired but not required skills:

• Demonstrated experience with Agile for hardware as a developer, SCRUM master, or Product Owner
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for project management and knowledge management
• Experience with Siemens NX or Teamcenter
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
• Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
• Experience with the design of systems with closed-loop control, where performance over a wide range of harsh environmental conditions

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $120,000 to $138,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
