We’re looking for a creative Freelance Senior Art Director who’s passionate about big ideas, strong storytelling, and design across all platforms. If you geek out over storytelling through photography, typography, layout, and love blending concept with strategy to bring your bold creative visions to life—you’ll fit right in.
You’ll work closely with a Creative Director to craft content across all channels as well as mentor junior creatives,. You’re skilled at collaborating with Copywriters and Strategists, turning briefs into smart, compelling campaigns. You know how to bring ideas to life through polished design and clear visual storytelling.
This freelance opportunity calls for 10 or more years of experience in 360 campaigns. You’re comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) and presentation software like PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides. You've got a natural curiosity that keeps you exploring new ideas.
Requirements
• You’ve got a sharp eye for design, typography, and photography—and an obsession with detail that makes you question this font choice.
• You speak fluent visuals, but you can hold your own with words too. (Surprise: you might be a better writer than you think.)
• You’re a true team player. Lone wolves don’t last long here.
• You know when to listen, when to jump in, and when to trust your gut.
• You can explain your ideas clearly—whether you're talking to your creative partner, your CD, or a client who "just doesn’t see it yet."
• You present work with confidence and clarity, making ideas feel obvious in the best way.
• You juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball.
• You pull inspiration from everywhere—music, film, gaming, comics, anime — not just the ad world.
• You’re solid in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• You can build a slick deck in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides.
• Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in Figma, After Effects, Final Cut or AI. Curiosity goes a long way.
• You’ll work on everything from big-name brands to bold start-ups—no being stuck on one account. You’ll work on the big assignments and the small ones, and you enjoy that variety.
• You create smart, thought provoking content for all channels.
• You bring smart thinking and creative problem-solving to every medium the brief throws at you.
• You know how to take a brief, handle feedback, and keep things moving on time and on point.
• Your work is polished, well-designed, and presentation-ready—inside the building or in front of a client.
• You’re comfortable guiding photographers, designers, editors, and other vendors to bring your ideas to life.
