Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Production Associate IV to join our TEAM! As the Production Associate IV, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as monitor equipment, set up and operate glaze line system and maintain automated sorting systems.
Primary Objective
Sets up and operates advanced glaze line, sorting, and body prep systems for the production of ceramic tile.
Major Function and Scope
Sets up and operates advanced glaze line system ensuring correct glaze is applied to ceramic tile.
Monitors and maintains automated sorting systems which rejects defective tile, boxes, and labels finished product.
Starts and operates spray dryer and/or Raymond Mill to compile body material.
Follows ISO operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified.
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
Performs other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
2 or more years’ experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment.
High School diploma or equivalent experience.
Competencies
Good oral and written communications skills. Good listening skills. Read and understand procedures in English.
