Tornado Transport is seeking an experienced Midwest Regional Dry Van CDL A Truck Driver in the Springfield, Illinois area. This regional position is perfect for drivers who want a consistent, weekly schedule and a competitive pay scale. We provide a minimum pay guarantee and a substantial sign-on bonus.

Job Details:

• Home Time: Our drivers are home weekly for a 36-48 hour reset, with the weekend being the goal.
• Routes: You will be running regional routes, typically in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
• Freight: This is a 100% no-touch freight operation, with loads of contract freight that are mostly drop-and-hook.

Pay & Bonuses:

• Starting Pay: Starting wage is $0.53 per mile .
• Guaranteed Pay: A $1,000 gross minimum pay guarantee is in place to protect your weekly income.
• Sign-On Bonus: New hires are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus .
• Referral Bonus: We offer a $3,000 referral bonus program .

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of OTR experience in the last 5 years is required.
• Work History: No more than 2 jobs in the last 12 months, or 5 jobs in the last 5 years.
• Violations: No serious violations in the last 3 years. A maximum of 2 moving violations in the last 12 months.
• Accidents: No DOT-reportable accidents, rollovers, or rear-end collisions in the last 3 years.
