Medical Technologist Hudson, FL
Full-Time | Nights (6:30 PM 7:00 AM, Rotating Weekends)
Pay Range: $27.09 to $37.92/hr + Differentials
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Nights) | Relocation: Case-by-Case
Experienced Medical Technologists are invited to join a leading regional laboratory in Hudson, Florida , serving a high-volume hospital environment. This role offers excellent professional growth, modern technology, and a collaborative team dedicated to quality, accuracy, and patient safety.
As a key member of our laboratory services team, you will perform a full range of stat and routine clinical laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank . You'll apply advanced diagnostic principles and independent judgment to ensure timely, precise, and regulatory-compliant results that support patient care decisions 24/7.
Perform accurate and timely clinical laboratory testing following established protocols.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct and document quality control procedures; take corrective actions as needed.
Review and interpret test results, performing delta checks and verifying accuracy before release.
Process specimens efficiently, ensuring compliance with specimen handling protocols.
Analyze proficiency testing samples and complete results within required timeframes.
Participate in inventory control and reagent monitoring to maintain workflow efficiency.
Support departmental compliance with CAP , CLIA , and other regulatory standards.
Act as department lead or point of contact in supervisor's absence.
Contribute to the laboratory's performance goals in quality, turnaround time, and patient satisfaction.
Required:
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
Active Florida Technologist License (or ability to obtain prior to hire).
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
Strong working knowledge of laboratory equipment, processes, and documentation standards.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related life science.
Experience in a hospital-based or high-volume clinical lab setting.
Familiarity with Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology testing disciplines.
Hourly Pay Range:
Minimum: $27.09/hr
Midpoint: $32.51/hr
Maximum: $37.92/hr
Shift Differentials:
Nights: +$2.50/hr
On-Call: +$2.00/hr
Incentives:
