Laboratory Technician I – Cleanroom Environment

Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.69 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire

A growing precision cleaning and passivation services provider is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support its cleanroom operations. This position is ideal for candidates with prior cleanroom or wet chemistry experience who are comfortable working in a structured, high-purity lab setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and document lab samples in accordance with standard procedures
• Prepare and handle solvents safely and effectively
• Track and maintain part serialization and lot traceability
• Monitor and replenish lab consumables inventory
• Work in both pre-clean and certified cleanroom environments following strict protocols
• Conduct particle count and non-volatile residue (NVR) testing
• Perform regular facility inspections and maintain lab cleanliness
• Support cleaning and packaging activities as needed
• Ensure all work complies with U.S. Export Control Laws and internal safety protocols

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cleanroom or lab environment, preferably with wet chemistry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic math proficiency, including ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be willing and able to wear a respirator and maintain a forklift license
• Must be able to work occasional overtime, including weekends and holidays, with short notice

• Ability to follow written work instructions precisely
• Comfortable working independently or in a team setting
