LOOKING FOR A FREIGHT BROKER - Remote
MUST HAVE LIQUID BULK EXPERIENCE!
Do you have a knack for connecting carriers with clients and ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe transportation of liquid commodities? If you're a proactive problem-solver with a strong network in the liquid bulk industry, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with liquid bulk carriers and shippers.
Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions to secure profitable freight movements.
Source and book freight for various liquid bulk products (e.g., chemicals, food-grade liquids, petroleum products).
Manage the full lifecycle of shipments, from initial quote to final delivery, ensuring all safety and regulatory compliance is met.
Proactively communicate with clients and carriers, providing updates and resolving any issues that arise.
Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to remain competitive.
Maintain accurate records and utilize our transportation management system (TMS) effectively.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Freight Broker, with a specific focus on liquid bulk transportation (non-negotiable!).
Extensive knowledge of liquid bulk carrier networks and industry regulations (DOT, hazmat, etc.).
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using a TMS and other relevant software.
A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
